Philadelphia Museum of Art

With a neo-classical exterior, the interior of the building is truly eclectic, as shown in the picture above (a). The second photo shows a Roman courtyard. (please correct me if I’m wrong)

Shaker Furniture

The Shakers were a religious community best known for their cultural contributions and hard work. Their furniture reflected their simple lifestyle, of minimal ornamentation and simple elegance that later on affected modern designs.

Bird in Space (Pasărea în văzduh)
Constantin Brancusi (original design)

The sculpture can be found in almost every major museum, made only with different materials. The original design is credited to the Romanian sculpture Brancusi. The sculpture depicts not the bird but its movement, an intriguing thought encouraged by the abstract artistic atmosphere of the 1920’s.
