The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Millennium Stage)

Washington, DC
Edward Durell Stone

The scale of the building is grand, as appropriate for its function. The large gold colored columns have cross spines to prevent bending. Arriving just in time for the jazz fest, we got to catch a show in the building. The acoustics were pretty good. The building has a rooftop viewing area that has 360 views of the city.
