Nuit Blanche

One of Toronto’s biggest art shows happen all throughout the streets of downtown. From 7pm to sunrise, Nuit Blanche showcases a huge variety of exhibitions on the streets, inside museums, parking lots, parks, you name it. A couple drinks and j’s and every year is a grand time. Being archietcts, we overanalyze everything. We were trying to discipher the meaning behind these floating balloons but the artist told us there’s no meaning, he just did it because it looks cool. The second photo was a part of a series of distopian projects in an underground parkinglot. An image is placed at the bottom of a tube, with reflective material lining the interior of the tube, distorting the image. It represents the slow deviation in organic elements through time.
